TOP-5 sights in Russia worth visiting this summer

TOP-5 sights in Russia worth visiting this summer

Long-time travelers are characterized by the desire to find new impressions not somewhere in distant and unexplored countries, revealing already known places from a new angle.

Really – what's it about a trip to Paris or New York? Another thing is to go around the Northwest of the United States along country paths, shallow paths, without missing a single, even the most littered settlement. Or discover not Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Antalya, but not adapted for tourist trips places in the north-east and east of Turkey, where there is a risk of getting acquainted with the military police and Kurdish fighters for freedom and independence – very friendly to the Russians, by the way.

Even in traditional Italy and Spain, there are places where the foot of a tourist has not set foot.

We will talk about it in this material, briefly reviewing the five places that can successfully compete with the advertised routes, capitals and majestic monuments of Europe.

Altai Blue Lake

A little-known genius of pure beauty is a true masterpiece, the Altai Mountains. To get acquainted with it, it is not necessary to endure hardships and hardships: it is enough to ride on a relatively decent asphalt (there is such in Europe) of the Chui mountain tract to the Mongolian border, not forgetting from time to time to slow down and capture the surroundings on a camera.

Of course, the quality of the Chui tract should not deceive you - most of the roads here are so-so, although it is considered the most picturesque road in the country. It is also unlikely that you will be able to stay on the post civilized - there are not enough hotels here. But there are wonderful and quiet areas where you can set up a tent, there are several tourist bases and houses. Not the Ritz, of course, but you didn't go to Eastern Siberia for the feathers, did you? And if you come, be sure to make acquaintance with several local attractions. For example, national German villages (settlers at the behest of Catherine the Great settled here in the XVIII century) and Altai cuisine - at least try buuzy!

Kazan

Kazan does not enjoy the glory of a tourist city, rather - a transit point during a trip from the Russian capital to Siberia, the Urals and the Far East or to fabulous Central Asia.

At the same time, the fairy tale is much closer than it seems - in this metropolis it is skillfully intertwined with modernity, and minarets coexist with golden and especially blue domes of Orthodox churches and strict Gothic roofs of Protestant churches. For completeness, there is not enough church, datsan and all, perhaps (there is a synagogue).

In the capital of Tatarstan, the dream of the capital's hipsters has been realized - there is a coherent and suitable for transport purposes grid of bicycle paths to the envy of every Sobyanin. Within the central part of the city there is a system of rental of bicycles and electric scooters (use them until they are banned!), which allows you to cheaply and very quickly explore the Kremlin, the cathedral mosque, embankments, Kaban Lake, a puppet theater resembling a castle from a fairy tale, as well as the palace of agriculture.

Quite rightly, Kazan, along with both capitals and Yekaterinburg, is singled out in a separate subgroup: here you seem to be in Russia, but with one foot - in Europe. The rest of the country can boast of this only half a cup. In terms of popularity among travelers, the city is in third place.

The surrounding area is also full of interesting things - the ancient city of Bulgar, the capital of the Khazar Khaganate and the Bulgarian Khanate, the eclectic temple of all religions or the Blue Lake will serve as an excellent addition to the capital's attractions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Manpupuner

This unique and unparalleled natural site not only appears in the list of UNESCO natural heritage sites, but also enjoys the glory of one of the most difficult to achieve attractions in the country.

Seven nadolbs - remains - rise above the Northern Urals, resembling petrified giants. The largest exceeds a fifteen-storey house, and the most modest in size does not reach 20 meters, but still amazes the imagination.

You can walk here, but it is not recommended - you will wipe your legs off. It is easier to get by helicopter from Ukhta, where there is a platform, or several other towns. The hiking route allows you to bypass the limit on the number of visitors - only a little less than two thousand people are honored to see this place annually. Such a restriction is designed to protect the natural monument from anthropogenic influence - so that stupid tourists do not take away millennial rocks for souvenirs.

Kamchatka

The land of volcanoes, hills and wild animals is somewhat reminiscent of an alien world. It is clear: how else to explain the emergence of such a phenomenon as Irina Yarovaya? A chtonic creature, thanks to which cellular communication has risen in price by a third, and the Internet has learned to "slow down", could be born only here.

But Kamchatka is not to blame that Irina Anatolyevna appeared. This is a cute, slightly wild, but very picturesque edge of the earth, where volcanoes erupt more often than in another settlement a long-distance bus arrives, black sand comes on the beach, and bears and wolves can roam the streets, dodging the splashes of geysers that raise ancient relic waters from the earth' columns.

Traveling here is a very expensive fun. By regular car or taxi, you can get only to a couple of towns, and for other trips you need a helicopter or sea transport. But it is understandable: to move around Alaska or Iceland for a penny also will not work.

Kislovodsk

A cozy old city, a great mountain resort, where you want to come again and again. Very colorful, prosperous, despite the snakes on the asphalt and walls cracks, quiet and blissful. The streets are decorated uniformly, even the signs of shops and public transport stops are the same. In each first showcase - the "collapse" of assorted narzan bottles. In spring and summer it is buried in colors, striking the imagination with the multi-colored roses, tulips, cherries and plums, as well as assos (that's where unification did not reach) roofs of houses sticking to the mountain slopes.

The most noticeable impression here is the air - a well-located, sandwiched between the mountains town is blown by natural air conditioning, which breaks the unbearable heat with a very pleasant and cool breeze, completely removing all negative manifestations.

Here you can taste the waters and walk, breathe and sleep, stagger along the city lanes and visit the mountains on foot and horseback, completely forgetting about the uncontrollable running of time.
