British universitie's ranking 2015

The British Agency The Complete University Guide annually makes a rating of high schools of the country. It is considered one of the most cited by both university representatives and members of student communities.

In 2015, according to TCUG, in the list of TOP-10 universities of England were included the same universities. The most advanced educational institutions in Britain are Oxford and Cambridge, the universities of Exeter, Bath, Warwick, as well as Imperial, Durham, St Andrews and the London School of Economics.

The last lines of the list also did not change in comparison with 2014. Universities of East London and London Metropolitan University are still considered as outsiders.

Several educational institutions succeeded in improving their ranking in 2015.

  • The University of Cardiff has risen 12 lines, now it is Is ranked 23rd in the TOP-100.
  • Lida University rose 9 places, he shared with the University of Cardiff the 23rd position of the list.
  • 18 lines - a new record of Arts University Bournemouth. This year, he overtook the 66th line of the London University of Art and took 57th place in the overall standings.
  • Edinburgh Heriot-Watt climbed 7 positions. He entered the TOP-40 of the best universities in Britain (33rd place).

Several universities lost their positions. At 96th place with 87 moved the University of Westminster. 46th place in the table was taken by St George's University of London (previously 37th position). Royal Agricultural University moved to 32 lines and took 83rd place.

The following indicators were used to determine the position in the university's list:

  • the level of complexity of admission to the university by UCAS (minimum 225 points, maximum - 614), admission requirements;
  • Students' satisfaction with the learning process, the quality of the training (annual survey with a 5-point scale);
  • The research activity of the university (according to the index of citing the work of researchers - from 1.1 to 3.0 in the Research Assessment Exercise);
  • 99% of the employment of graduates.
