London Metropolitan University has the reputation of a young university with an innovative education system. London Metropolitan University was formed by the merger of two venerable universities of the old formation - the London University Guildhall and the University of North London.

London Metropolitan University has three campuses in London — each campus specializes in specific subject areas. All academic sites are accessible by bus or train.
The Aldgate campus is located in London's East End, near the Whitechapel Gallery and the Petticoat Lane, Spitalfields, and Columbia Road markets. The Aldgate and Aldgate East underground stations are nearby, and Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street railway stations are within walking distance. The campus workshops and studios are being updated and repurposed to improve learning spaces.
