UNIC is approved to deliver the following Pre-Master’s programmes to the students who don’t meet the entry criteria for the direct entry onto the University’s Masters degrees.

Northampton is a charming historic medieval town dating back to 9th century, surrounded by one of the most beautiful countryside in England. One of the most famous stately home in the country, Althorpe - stately home to princess Diana’s (Spencer) family for almost 500 years, and is her final resting place - is located only a few miles away from the centre of Northampton.

The program is designed for graduates of the school, who plan to enter the University for Bachelor's programs. Applicants must have good marks in the diploma and the level of English is not lower than IELTS 5.5 (in case the level is insufficient, you can take language courses). The program has 9 different directions, education in each direction lasts 2 semesters. Students study both common modules (such as learning skills) and modules in their specialty.
In addition to the actual curriculum, students, thanks to the full support of teachers and university staff, as well as other students, successfully adapt to the education system and the way of life in Britain. After the end of the program, graduates enter the available baccalaureate courses.

The cost of education in all directions = 9,400 £ / course (2 semesters).
The program is designed for foreign applicants who have a higher education (bachelor's degree) and who want to enroll in a master's program at the University of Northampton. IELTS 6.0 level is required for participation, if the level is not sufficient, special courses of English can be passed. Students can choose one of 10 directions, each of which leads to specific master's programs. All courses of study are identical, and they include general disciplines, but at the same time, they focus on the topics needed in the chosen field of science / research.

The module is designed to teach students to use various concepts when preparing a written report in a master's program. Teachers are taught to think about their approach when building a report, through constant feedback in educational manuals, developing skills that will help in reassessing decisions based on theory and its relation to practice. All students submit a report on self-reflection in written and oral form
3) Research methods for graduate school
This module provides students with an introduction to qualitative, quantitative and mixed research methods. It aims to familiarize students with the skills necessary to conduct various stages of the research project: selecting a topic, writing a research proposal, reviewing literature, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting and defending a dissertation. 4) Creative and critical thinking
The module is designed to help students develop a range of critical and analytical thinking skills necessary for successful master's level education. Students get an understanding of the concepts used in critical thinking; interpret the arguments of others and develop effective arguments, applying them either orally or in writing. Students work in groups and independently, present reports, reflective essays and take part in debates.
During the education, students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the magistracy. After the successful completion of the educational program, graduates enter the University's Master's program in the chosen specialty.

University Halls
There is a selection of accommodation available at 3 locations:
University offers single and twin rooms with shared bathrooms or en-suites and complete with halls facilities and services. The rooms are all equipped with network access and WiFi, as well as 24-hour security and a dedicated support team, and all utilities such as electricity, water, gas, and council tax are included in the cost.
Private Sector Housing at UON
The University can help you to find suitable private rental properties. Their Housing Team produces a housing list that provides you with details of properties that meet their high safety standards.
If you choose to live in private rented accommodation you may need to consider costs other than rent, for example utilities, including water and electricity, council tax and car parking.
The food is not included in the accommodation fees and you should budget for it separately. Typical weekly food shopping cost in Northampton is around 35-40 £ a week and the nearest supermarket is just around the corner from the Waterside Student Village and opposite the Town Centre Halls. There is also a food shopping area within 1 bus stop ride of Scholars Green Student Village.
During studying, students actively engage in various kinds of sports under the guidance of experienced coaches. There are team and individual sports.
