In the British educational system, HNC / HND degrees are the first stages of higher education (even before the bachelor's degree): HNC (Higher National Certificate, 1 year) and HND (Higher National Diploma, 2 years). Summer programs are available to students from around the world at the age of 17 years. Duration of studying can be from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the needs and capabilities of the student. Here the students are offered cozy, fully furnished single bedrooms (on request, there are superior rooms with private bathroom), in general use there are comfortable living rooms with upholstered furniture, table games and TV, laundry and functional kitchens.
Students may also be offered accommodation in a host Irish family - they are known throughout the world for their hospitality and friendliness. Living in a family will allow daily practice of language skills with native speakers of correct, literate English, to learn more about Irish customs, culture and traditions.
