Students are offered accommodation in a hostel (with and without food), student homes. In residences on campus, students are provided with single rooms (less often double rooms) with private facilities. Meals can be organized on a self-service basis, half board.

Everyone in the university has a separate room. Kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms are in common use. Meals are not provided. For an additional fee, students can order breakfasts and dinners at a nearby cafe.

Students also have access to lounge areas, cafeterias and a dining room.

The campus also has a Student Center providing administrative services. Its 20-acre Technology Park brings together business, entrepreneurship and technology facilities. The faculty of engineering and computer technology occupies a separate modern building.

Coventry University's creative and media production facilities include a photography suite with black-and-white darkrooms, digital scanning and a print bureau. Printing studios support screen printing, etching and bookbinding, and their presses date back to Coventry School of Art and Design in 1843. Fashion studios provide laser cutting, digital embroidery and sewing machines. The Tank television studio has cameras, mixing facilities and triple-glazed soundproofing. Forensic Investigations students have access to video- and audio-enabled crime scene houses.

The Alison Gingell Building contains sport science laboratories with a 40-meter athletics track and a 12-camera 3D motion-capture system for biomechanics work. The physiology laboratory has analyzers for oxygen kinetics and body composition. The building also includes one of Europe's most advanced environmental rooms for studying the effects of environmental conditions on the body, a strength and conditioning suite, and a sports therapy clinic where students practice under the supervision of qualified staff.
