The Czech Republic provides access to a high-quality and affordable education. The nation's educational heritage dates back to the 14th century, when it became recognized as a European hub for learning and culture.

Today, the country is continually evolving and enhancing its educational landscape, with numerous schools and universities welcoming both domestic and international students. Currently, the Czech Republic stands out as a favorable destination for foreign students, boasting a well-developed infrastructure, a high standard of living, and a diverse array of academic programs and recreational activities.

Study in the Czech Republic. Guide for foreign students

The Czech Republic boasts an educational system with roots dating back to 1774. Today, it encompasses a range of institutions, from preschools to higher education facilities. Early education, provided by kindergartens and specialized centers, focuses on foundational learning skills.

Basic secondary education, spanning 9 years, is available at both state and private schools. These schools welcome foreign students, offering diverse curricula, including the popular International Baccalaureate (IB) program and the standard Czech certificate. Private schools in the Czech Republic conduct annual assessments to gauge student progress, with a grading scale from 1 (best) to 5 (worst), where students scoring 5 may retake exams after summer.

Higher education in the Czech Republic is divided into professional and academic streams. Vocational training is offered in specialized higher education institutions, while universities provide Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs.

Language courses tailored to foreign students are available in various language centers and schools. Options range from short-term holiday language camps to intensive semester-long courses. These programs help students master Czech, learn grammar, acquire specific vocabulary, adapt to new surroundings, and can lead to a CEFR certificate.

Help to pick up a public school in the Czech Republic, where the boarding house is located. For education to be free, and for accommodation and food to pay

Dasha, good afternoon. Thank you very much for your comment, however in the Czech Republic we work only with private educational institutions. In them is a comprehensive payment - for tuition, accommodation and meals. If such options interest you, you can email us at mail@smapse.com, and we will be happy to help you.
