Los Angeles
In 2011, the Art in the Streets exhibition was organized in Los Angeles, after which street art was recognized worldwide. Bristol is the city of artist Banksy. The largest festival of street art is organized here. Graffiti and street art will be presented primarily in the areas of Bedminster and Southville, it is here that artists of a new direction will create.
Berlin
Fragments of the Berlin Wall are the object of close attention. The wall was restored in 2009, and at the request of the authorities, the artists implemented their graffiti projects. Dmitry Vrubel had the opportunity to recreate his creation: a kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker, without a photo of which no trip to the german capital can do without now.
Mexico City
Here, street art has historical roots, this art form was widespread in the era of ancient civilizations. Here, craftsmen create graffiti without restrictions, street masterpieces can be created at a legal level. In 2012, the All City Canvas festival was held, for the coordination of which a year was spent.
London
The "paintings" of street art are short-lived, at any moment another artist can apply his drawing on top of another. And if the project was not pre-approved, it can easily be destroyed! Street art has its own guides who are able to find good specimens around the city – for example, Banksy stencils.
São Paulo
There's graffiti everywhere. There are, however, areas where you should not go after sunset. It is worth seeing the graffiti on the long wall on Prospekt 23 de Mayo and the encrypted messages"Pixação"(Pixação): this refers to the style of drawing in hard-to-reach places. A new graffiti festival is planned in São Paulo: 4,000 spray cans were used at the previous such event.
Valparaiso, Chile
Street art is developed and flourishing in Valparaiso. True, in some areas there is a vandal style of graffiti. Cerro Polanco hosted an exhibition festival, after which the area is considered an open graffiti museum.
Cape Town
Here, to create a street art project, it is necessary to coordinate it with the local administration, so there are many creations on the streets of the city. It does not prohibit painting on the walls, which makes graffiti a popular art form. There are even officially organized exhibitions of street art exhibits!
Paris
Free graffiti artists are found on Rue de Rivoli, whereas in the city centre street art is found only on unfinished buildings. There are many streets with street art objects, but it is further from the center: Calle Denoye, Boulevard Menilmontand, 19th arrondissement near the Canal Saint-Martin.
