Countries open for foreign students despite lockdowns, long-term student visas

It's important to note, despite that many countries have closed borders, arrival for the purpose of long-term academic study is proceeding as usual. If you're planning to study abroad, you must apply for a student visa from the respective country.

Below you'll find a list of countries where you can study in the future:

Long-term visa:

Short-term visa:

  • UK
  • USA (with B1 / B2 visa)
  • UAE (up to 30 days)

Thus, for students wishing to enter primary, secondary schools, get higher education abroad, as well as to prepare for higher education abroad on Foundation or Pathway programs, borders are not closed.
