You have passed your graduation, certificate in hand, and you are thinking about entering universities abroad? You can still make it to the dream! Applications are accepted until the end of July.
For students who want to save time and simplify the process of entering abroad, the Foundation and Year One curricula are specially developed. What are their main bonuses and why is it worth registering now?
As you know, graduates of many schools can not enter the British and American universities immediately after receiving the certificate: in the UK, for example, students learn not 11, but 12-13 years, because they are much better prepared for university life. In order not to undergo long additional educational programs, do not spend 2-3 years studying in another country (which is also very expensive) and complex, intensive programs have been developed.
1. Foundation - list of educational institutions
Intensive language and academic education for 6-10 months: at the same time students improve their English skills and learn useful academic subjects. Plus, the Foundation often runs on the basis of large centers, colleges, institutes and universities - students are completely immersed in the university atmosphere, go to classes built on the university system, get used to live on campus.
Requirements for applicants:
- age 17+ years;
- Certificate of secondary education with a good average score;
- IELTS 4.5-5.0 (by the way, many centers offer additional education for the IELTS or TOEFL in the course of the Foundation - take the opportunity!);
- age 17+ years;
- Certificate of secondary education with a good average grade / or completion of one year of university at home / Certificate of A-level or Foundation programs;
- IELTS from 5.0 to 5.5.
2. International Year One - a list of universities
For the most active and motivated, the course of Year One will suit, which will not waste a single minute! During the whole year of education you will combine preparation (intensive language course, honing of useful skills and academic skills) and education on a subject program according to the level of the first year of the bachelor's program. You are both studying at the high school and at the university! After the successful completion of the International Year One course, the student is transferred immediately to the second year of the bachelor's degree in the chosen specialty, that is, he spends 3 years on higher education, and not 4 years.
The program is academically quite complex and intensive, lasts 3 semesters. International Year One is held on the basis of large universities, institutes and higher schools-it is often offered to students on the lines of business, management, finance, and the international economy.
