When the exams are passed and a visa is obtained, it is time to think about housing in the country where you will study. The option to stay with relatives or friends is attractive, but not for everyone. University residence, dormitory from partners, rent of an apartment / house - what to choose?

University Residence
A common option is to settle on campus in the residence of the university. In fact, this is a dormitory on campus. Forget the grandmother-watcher, a room for five and one bathroom per floor (or even several)! European and American students live in a single or double room with a personal bathroom.
- Foreign students note such advantages of living in a residence as a view of the mountains or Lake Geneva, spacious rooms, a terrace. Not necessarily all at once, but in one thing you will definitely be lucky.
- Foreign students in the United States are glad that everything is on campus and it is not necessary to go beyond it. In addition, quickly get to study - in the building next to the residence. Living conditions are comfortable, neighbors are freshmen and sophomores, senior courses prefer to rent houses and apartments.
Apartment
The analogue of the hostel is apartments. If you are lucky and settle one, common areas will have to share with neighbors. For example, in China, the system of apartments "two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom" is common. But, as in the hotel, towels are regularly changed.
Rented apartment/house
A more expensive, but comfortable accommodation option is to rent an apartment. If the university has its own contractor, then the lease will be cheaper than independently. As a rule, the apartment is rented in a fold, which makes it possible to settle with students from other courses or universities, building up ties.
