The UK Home Office has changed the rules for issuing entry permits to foreign children who want to study at British schools, centers and colleges.
To obtain a visa, you will have to meet high standards, both for a foreign child and his temporary guardians:
- Guardians must provide letters of commitment detailing the living conditions for the foreigner,
- Both children and their guardians will be checked for criminal records,
- Appointed guardians must meet the requirements for close relatives and full guardians: they can only be adult British citizens or persons with permanent resident status.
The new rules will contribute to the creation of a safer and more comfortable learning atmosphere for foreign children, and for schools and colleges will become an additional qualitative criterion for the selection of future students.
