Bachelor's degree in higher education institutions in Switzerland usually lasts 3-4 years. The duration of studying depends on the specialty you choose.

Students can get Bachelor's degree in TOP Swiss universities:

To get Bachelor's degree, you will need:

  • Passing the official exam in Fribourg. The exam includes 5 disciplines, of which 3 are mandatory: foreign language, mathematics, history, and 2 elected subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, geography, second foreign language
  • Certificate of English Proficiency TOEFL or IELTS
  • Letters of recommendation from teachers
  • Portfolio of achievements, motivation letter
  • Interview or interview
  • Additional entrance exams in the chosen specialty.

It is necessary to send documents before January: correspondence with the university takes two to three months, and it is good to have some time in reserve so that before the beginning of the academic year, i.e. until October, in order to have time to send documents to the "spare" university, if the first one refuses you.

This can happen even when all the documents are in order. Swiss universities themselves decide what and to what extent to teach students, so the decision on whether this applicant is sufficiently prepared for higher education in Switzerland also remains the prerogative of the university.

The most popular specialties in Switzerland among foreign students:

  • tourism and hospitality
  • Hotel Management
  • restaurant management
  • culinary and confectionery art
  • specialties in business, banking and economics.

The Swiss Diploma of Higher Education is highly regarded all over the world. Many graduates receive job offers, while still being students of the last year, from the largest international companies, many go to work in those companies where they underwent internships.
