On the basis of the campus in 2013, a separate institute ICI (International Culinary Institute) was founded, specializing in the studying of world-class chefs.

All studying is conducted in English - so students have more opportunities for subsequent employment. Linguistics as a whole is paid close attention: in addition to the main course, students learn German, French or Spanish (usually subjects to choose from, but you can take all the options in your curriculum). Please note that the IMI Luzern school has also taken care of students whose English language level is not high enough for effective education - there are additional intensive language courses. Duration can be 1 month (4 weeks, requirements for admission - IELTS from 5.0) or 3 months (11 weeks, requirements for admission - IELTS from 4.0), depending on the initial level of preparation (students from 17 years are admitted).

The educational program harmoniously combines practical and theoretical studies. First, students spend 5-6 months on campus, attending lectures and workshops, then go on a 5-6-month internship, then these cycles are repeated. Educational programs are recognized, tested and accredited in the Swiss canton Nidwalden, and also approved by the University of Manchester Metropolitan University.
