Curriculum

Each term includes one four-six month internship, completed after the end of the academic term. The learning process combines academic classes with practice-oriented modules — masterclasses and practical sessions are conducted by invited industry experts.

To manage academic and administrative matters, students use the MySEG mobile app — with its help, they can track invoices, grades, class schedules, and the academic calendar.

Each campus has a student advisor who assists with medical and dental consultations and provides support in emergency situations. Regular seminars on stress management, time management, and conflict resolution are held, as well as mindfulness and meditation practices. Students can undergo a Myers-Briggs assessment and a competency assessment for leadership development. Psychological counseling is available both on and off campus.

Students who need to improve their language skills or adapt to life in Switzerland before starting their main program have access to the English Foundation Program (10 weeks) and the Immersion Foundation Program (4 weeks) at the campus in Leysin.

1. Submitting the application and uploading documents: certificate, proof of English language proficiency, copy of international passport, CV, motivation letter, and recommendation letters (if available),
2. Payment of the registration fee,
3. Review of the application by the admissions committee and, if requirements are met, receipt of a conditional offer letter,
4. Payment of a confirmation deposit to reserve a place. It is credited toward the first semester payment,
5. Receipt of the enrollment letter for student visa processing (for international students),

Bachelor's programs are structured so that half of the study period consists of paid international internships: three internships of six months each (upon completion of each year), allowing graduates to acquire one and a half years of practical work experience in the hospitality industry by the time they graduate. Internships take place at hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments both in Switzerland and abroad.

Bachelor's graduates receive two educational documents:

• A Bachelor of Business Administration diploma in the chosen specialization from Northwood University (USA) (the program is accredited by ACBSP),
• Swiss Federal Diploma in Business Administration from HIM Business School.

The Career Services department assists students in their job search.

Documents must be translated into English by an official translator. Copies are accepted upon enrollment, but originals may be requested additionally.

For the Study Abroad program:

• If studying at a university — a letter from the university confirming transferable courses,
• English level: TOEFL 550 or equivalent,

For the Direct Entry program (credit transfer):

International (non-EU) students, after receiving an enrollment letter, must obtain a student visa at the Swiss consulate in their place of residence. The decision is made by the Swiss authorities; the processing period is up to 12 weeks.

Scholarships are considered individually for each candidate, calculated only on the cost of tuition, and do not cover accommodation and meals, and cannot be combined with other discounts. The number of places is limited and determined annually.
