France has introduced a new scholarship program designed exclusively for talented Americans who want to continue their education at the best French universities. The LaFayette Fellowship program is timed to coincide with the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. This scholarship initiative aims to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation between France and the United States. French President Emmanuel Macron stressed that the program is designed to create a new generation of scientists and cultural figures united by a common mission - to invent a common future.
Under the terms of the scholarship program, participants will be able to study the first year of a master's degree at one of the 15 leading French universities located in eight cities of the country. American undergraduates will receive free tuition, a monthly scholarship of €1500, round-trip flights, and exemption from application fees and visa application fees. In addition, the students will take part in a leadership program that includes workshops, conferences, cultural events, and visits to leading research centers.
Citizens of the United States of America who are under the age of 27 and already have a bachelor's degree can become participants in the program.
