The well-known network of American language centers English Outdoors (formerly Brooklyn School of Languages) has chosen a new location for summer camps in 2026: next summer, the capital of England, London, will be a gathering point for students from different countries. Teenagers from 14 to 17 years old will be able to enroll in two-week studying courses. All teaching will be practice-oriented.
The English capital will be the third location in which the English Outdoors camp will be held. The first venue was New York, and the second was Toronto.
The concept of English Outdoors Summer Camps is not to teach in the classroom, but throughout the city. Foreign students practice their language skills in real-world settings, learning to use colloquial vocabulary and slang expressions, while learning traditional rules. During the day, they explore the city, and in the evening they gather on campus to discuss their impressions, watch a movie, or drink tea and cookies.
Foreign students will be able to stay in single rooms in a residence on the campus; It is located in the center of the city, so teenagers can easily move around in search of various attractions.
Outside the summer season, English Outdoors also works: during the academic year, the management of the language center offers individual programs for group lessons. In autumn, winter and spring, students can stay with host families.
