Postgraduate Diploma

The post-bachelor's program is available in the following areas:

This is an opportunity to deepen and strengthen the knowledge gained at the bachelor's degree (for example, in order to take a higher position) without taking a full master's course. Internship is not included in the course, but almost 50% of the study time is devoted to practice, and the program is clearly adapted, focused on the current requirements of employers, the state of the market.
Preparatory programs: Foundation
- Age of students: 16+ years old
- Duration: from a semester to an academic year, with an average of 10 months.
For students who want to strengthen their knowledge and skills before enrolling in major university programs, Debrecen University offers a range of options. Programs differ in topic and specialty, duration and intensity, and focus (language or academic accent). Proposed areas of pre-university training:
- Basic Medicine Course (Premedical Studies): Level I and II,
- International Foundation Year (one-year preparation before entering the bachelor's program), there is a separate direction International Foundation Year for Pop Music,
- Intensive Foundation Semester (training during the semester for those who need to improve their language and academic knowledge a little),
- Preparatory course for applicants for vocals / playing musical instruments,
- Preparatory course for applicants to music theory, choir conducting, general music education.
Debrecen University also offers preparatory pre-university programs abroad (for example, on campus in Korea or Nigeria, Summer Study Tour). There is a separate preparatory course for applicants from China (Hungarian Scholarship Foundation Program).
For applicants applying for medical specialties, the BMC School Budapest course has been prepared: it is a symbiosis of pre-medical training and intensive study of the English language.
For those who want to improve their English, there are several options:

- Accelerated Short English Language Course (September-December, 300 hours),
- Intensive English Language Course (February-June, 400 hours).

- To obtain a bachelor's degree, prospective students must present a document confirming the presence of a full secondary education. When enrolling in the magistracy should show a bachelor's degree. The package of documents is provided in English or Hungarian and notarized.
- Debreceni Egyetem offers instruction in two languages (English or Hungarian), both for bachelors and for masters.
