University of Pécs

Pécsi Tudományegyetem (PTE), or the University of Pécs, is in Pécs, Hungary. Its medical school has 3500 students from 67 countries.

• MA/MSc master's programs take 2–4 semesters after a bachelor's degree,
• Specialized postgraduate programs are available to holders of bachelor's or master's degrees.

In the summer of 2021, the law faculty signed an agreement with Temple University's Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia to arrange student and faculty exchanges.

Students in Sportszervezés, the sports organization program, attend lectures and practical classes daily according to the timetable. They can choose courses in sports science and economics, as well as Campus-kredit courses offered by different PTE faculties.

Doctoral studies last four years. After completing the curriculum, students can receive a certificate of completion and apply for a doctoral degree.

Full-time law students at PTE who have completed at least two academic years can apply for Study Abroad at Temple University. The exchange lasts from one semester to a full academic year.

Temple also accepts up to two faculty members or doctoral students from PTE's law faculty each year for research exchanges lasting up to one year. Doctoral students receive an advisor and access to teaching and research materials.

• The university has 21 doctoral schools covering nearly every academic field, including fine arts, music, and both the artistic and engineering aspects of architecture,
• The university's vocational school, PTE Szociális és Egészségügyi Technikum és Szakképző Iskola, offers training for nearly twenty occupations across four areas: healthcare, medical technology, social services, and sports.

The institute at PTE's wine estate breeds disease-resistant grape varieties and studies the wines made from them.

The university provides residence hall accommodation on request for full-time PhD/DLA students.

Private rentals in Pécs include furnished and unfurnished apartments. Students can also share an apartment with roommates.

The medical school has a bookstore that carries PROFEX study materials.

Teaching kitchens I–II are located in Building D of the health sciences faculty.

Participants in the research exchange between PTE's law faculty and Temple University must cover their own living expenses in the United States.

PTE selects candidates from its law faculty for Study Abroad at Temple University. Temple makes the final admissions decision.

Admission to training is conducted by a special university commission, which conducts recruitment, assessing the academic progress of applicants, as well as collecting the results of exams passed by all applicants before. Cost of education
