Connecticut is located in the southern part of New England, it is the third largest state in the United States (although from the end): you can get from one end of the state to the other in a couple of hours. It is an old and prosperous state with a rich tradition, including in terms of secondary and higher education: Constitution State is home to one of the first American private universities, Yale, which opened in 1701.
The key to Connecticut's economic prosperity is in the manufacturing cluster and advanced industries tied to biotechnology, modern digital media, green energy, and the knowledge economy (for example, every tenth book and every thirteenth newspaper in the United States comes off the machine in this state). In addition, Connecticut was one of the pioneers in the banking and insurance sector. All this, combined with a well-thought-out education system and an excellent (by American standards) social sphere, is reflected in the state's impressive HDI rating of 0.962, one of the highest in the world.
The excellent urban infrastructure and the excellent transport system cannot be written off, not to mention the landscapes, recreation parks and numerous natural and man-made monuments. The state is located in the subtropics, with a "bias" towards a continental climate, which makes local weather conditions optimal and comfortable.
