Associate Program

Associate degree programs will provide students with the opportunity to obtain professional knowledge and skills to begin their careers as junior specialists in various departments. They are taught in three formats: full-time, hybrid and online, so that students can vary their academic workload and combine their studies with work.

- The studying period is one and a half or four years.
Most bachelor's degree programs are available in full—time and hybrid formats, some of them in an additional online form. Students can choose from the following specializations:

Full-time, these courses take four academic years and include lectures and practice. An accelerated Bachelor of Science degree course is available — "Nurse Preparation", the duration of which is 16 months.
Upon completing the chosen program, students receive a competitive diploma, thanks to which they can start a professional career or continue their academic career in a master's degree.
Master's Program
Age of students — from 21 years old,
The studying period is one to two years.
The university has several programs leading to a Master of Science degree.:
- Nursing: preparation of family nurse practitioners,

- Nursing: training of family nurse practitioners in the field of psychiatry, mental health,
- Organizational leadership,

Each of the specializations consists of 30-50 academic credits, which are usually studied in one to two years. Students attend lectures, participate in practical and research work, gaining high-quality specialized skills and expanding employment opportunities in the future.
English as a second language (ESL)

Goodwin College (Goodwin College) offers all its students vocational English courses in the standard "English as a second language." Goodwin University is a private American university offering Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degree programs.
Its history began in the 1960s, when the business school of the Institute of Data was founded. Gradually developing and expanding, it began to attract more local and international students, after which it received the status of a college, valid until 2020, and then the right to teach higher education programs and university status. The gradual development of Goodwin University has led it to a new academic image — a small but strong university with three faculties offering a wide range of specializations: from medical sciences and nursing to advanced manufacturing and business research. The university retains a small number of students, as it adheres to a personalized approach to each of them — about 3,010 students of different backgrounds and nationalities study on the campus located in East Hartford.
A distinctive feature is the flexible forms of programs that provide students with the opportunity to choose whether to visit the campus permanently, combine their degree with professional activities, or study their chosen program completely remotely. Thanks to this approach, the academic area of Goodwin University is open all year round, and new students are admitted six times a year.

Goodwin University is a member of NIRSA (National Association of Intramural and Recreational Sports), Region-1 College Football, and the Southern New England Conference of the National Association of Club Basketball. Among the events in which the institution's teams participated, it is worth noting boat races, flag football tournaments, pickleball, indoor and outdoor volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Another popular sport is esports. Goodwin University is a member of the National Student Esports Conference, which manages competitions between universities across the United States and Canada. Goodwin University occupies a relatively small area in the central part of East Hartford. The infrastructure includes several buildings in which lecture halls, scientific laboratories, recreation areas, specialized facilities for sports, creative activities and events are prepared. The campus also has a large library with access to printed and electronic resources, and a Center for additional support and counseling.
Since 2021, Goodwin University has been partnering with the University of Bridgeport, a higher education institution in Bridgeport which academic grounds and facilities are part of Goodwin University.

The Goodwin University campus is open almost every day throughout the calendar year, excluding national and international holidays. The main stages of the academic year:
