University of Hartford or UHart is a multidisciplinary educational institution of an international class. Students from all over the United States and over 50 countries around the world come here every year to receive quality education at various levels.

The structure of the university includes 7 schools and colleges that are responsible for education in various fields:

In total, UHart offers more than 100 academic programs and more than 120 clubs for the implementation of extracurricular activities of students. Thanks to its activities, the University of Hartford makes a significant contribution to the development of various fields - more than 85 thousand graduates have become specialists in medicine, engineering, science, sports and art.

The mission of the University of Hartford is to conduct research that has a tangible impact on the outside world. For this, the university forms a qualified teaching staff (ratio with students 9: 1) and carefully monitors the relevance of academic programs.

The university also provides its students with financial support for education - more than 90% of students receive scholarship or grant assistance.

Accommodation and meals for international students at UHart are offered at a special rate, which includes accommodation in a standard double room and a 7-day meal plan. The menu of the local dining room is varied - from classic European cuisine to dietary or vegetarian.

All freshmen students live in the residence of the university, where they also have access to classrooms and laundry. Starting from the 2nd year, students can continue to live in a dormitory, choose student apartments or find housing outside the campus. Graduate students can even send an application for accommodation in a modern townhouse complex. All residences and apartments are on campus, within walking distance of dining rooms, sports centers and educational buildings.

Available accommodation options:

• Residence Hawk Hall. Offered for freshmen. Students are accommodated in double rooms with a shared bathroom on the floor.
• Residential complexes from A to D level. These are dormitories for freshmen with a level of convenience from the level of “standard” to “luxury” with accommodation in complex rooms where 8 to 20 people can live
• Apartment Park River. This is a fully furnished apartment (1-bed or 2-room) with a hotel kitchen. Capacity from 1 to 4 people. Available for students starting from the 2nd year
• Apartment Village. Grouping of 7 buildings, each of which has its own courtyard. In each of them are comfortable apartments, consisting of 1-3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchen with appliances
• Residential complexes E and F. These are dormitories in the format of standard apartments. This type of apartment can accommodate from 6 to 20 students, plus there are about 75 single rooms. Facilities are on the floor.
• Regents Park Apartments. Luxury residential apartments that are fully furnished and in addition to the bedrooms in terms of the number of guests (up to 4 people) include a living room and a bathroom. Students clean the premises on their own.

Regardless of the option chosen, on the campus, each student will have the necessary furniture and amenities: a bed with a mattress, a desk, an armchair, a chest of drawers for personal belongings and a wardrobe for common, all rooms are air-conditioned.

University of Hartford is a diverse campus with a community of different sections and associations to help students discover their many talents, interests, or new worldviews. In total, more than 100 student clubs are available as part of the extracurricular program for UHart students, covering a wide variety of areas from frisbee or football to photography or robotics.

Since the university includes two schools of performing arts, students can enjoy free concerts, art shows or exhibitions. Hartford also hosts many traditional events in which young people can also take part - for example, midnight breakfast, spring weekends, days for parents and more.

The university campus occupies 350 acres of beautifully landscaped trees. It is located at the intersection of Hartford - the capital of Connecticut - and cities such as West Hartford and Bloomfield. In addition, the larger American cities of Boston and New York are just a 2-hour drive away. Thanks to such a convenient location in the central part of Hartford, students have enough opportunities to explore the area and urban surroundings - there are parks, museums, beaches and even mountains.

Location in the center makes it possible not only to independently explore the city, but also to cooperate with various companies and organizations that are located in the neighborhood: university students can undergo an internship and form useful professional contacts. The main campus of the university is located directly in Hartford, and two more departments are located in the town of West Hartford and the village of Bloomfield (New England).

Hartford University has a modern design and advanced technical equipment necessary for training in various fields: these are laboratories, modern classrooms, sports grounds, workshops, conference rooms, venues for theatrical performances and not only.

The academic year at the University of Hartford is divided into two semesters, training begins in September and continues until May. In the summer months, a summer educational semester is held. The deadline for applying for the new school year is February 15 of the current school year.
