The Holland International Study Center (the Dutch International Education Center) is an educational center that specializes in preparing foreign applicants for admission to the Dutch higher educational institutions. The Center offers 2 or 3-term courses in one of two branches - Amsterdam or Groningen.
Educational programs, International Foundation Year (Business and Management, Science and Technology) and the University of Applied Sciences International Foundation Year, provide intensive English language studying, adaptation to the educational system, and development of research skills. The English Language Preparation program (available only within the framework of the University of Applied Sciences International Foundation Year) means an improvement in the level of English for a one-term program.
After graduation, students can be enrolled in the undergraduate program of one of the eight partner universities:
After graduating from the university and getting a diploma, everyone can stay in the Netherlands for a year and get a job.
Accommodation is offered in special student hotels. Three branches are available for living:
1) Amsterdam City (15 minutes by bike to the educational center)
2) Amsterdam West (30 minutes to the transportation educational center)
3) Groningen (15 minutes by bike to the educational center)
