Students are introduced to three sub-disciplines in international law: international humanitarian law of armed conflict, international criminal law and international economic law. Studying these three areas, students raise awareness of the limitations and potential of international law as an instrument of influence in the sphere of political and military conflicts. Olomouc Summer Law School for Medical Law at Palacky University (Czech Republic) offers to participate in seminars, lectures, discussions, conducted by domestic and international experts, practical exercises (attending a professionally commented autopsy). The program is aimed at studying mental health laws, pharmaceutical law, rules for working with non-commercial drugs, and the problems of regulating the advertising of medical devices.
