The Army and Navy Academy of Carlsbad is an international boarding school for boys, providing cadets with grades 7 to 12. The institution is proud of its reputation, more than a hundred-year history and careful observance of historical traditions and principles. The students actively develop leadership skills, ability to work independently and in a team, assiduity, discipline and responsibility - thanks to this, after the first semester everyone significantly improves their academic performance.

The unique JROTC leadership program operates here: it includes 4 steps and qualitatively prepares pupils for leadership positions in a real life. International students acquire an active life position, are able to use the acquired skills and their strengths, understand well what they want to become and what needs to be done to become real men.

The academic program is based on the professionalism and rigor of the instructors, the complexity of the training courses and the powerful motivating atmosphere on the campus. Small classes provide an opportunity to realize an individual, personal approach, give each student a maximum of time and attention, to reveal his potential and abilities. Special coordinating programs help students show their talents and abilities, make the right choice regarding the further path of learning and building a career.

The choice of academic disciplines makes it possible to obtain not only knowledge in the field of science, but also in the field of creativity and art, and living in a military academy implies active participation in sports, military affairs and marching. Each student attends the Leadership and Discipline Development (JROTC) classes for 180 hours: this helps to improve the ability to take responsibility, work in a team, develops self-esteem, the ability to manage time, and improves research skills.

The Army and Navy Academy campus occupies approximately 16.5 acres of the ocean coast, it is located in California near the small town of Carlsbad. There is a very safe and secluded atmosphere here, there is free access to a spacious beach, restaurants and shopping pavilions, a well-developed transport system. You will always find at Carlsbad excellent climatic conditions and living standards and an excellent urban infrastructure, including quality medical care.

Each high school student chooses for own curriculum personally for 6 disciplines in each semester:

Accommodation and food

Students are provided with comfortable and cozy rooms for 2-3 people. The schedule is fixed: starts at 6:00 and hang up at 22:00.

On weekends, the schedule for students is more relaxed: you can go on an excursion or go for a walk, to the beach, to meet with parents .

Meals are arranged according to the full boarding system three times a day in a spacious common dining room. This is a full, balanced and varied diet: on the table of cadets there are always green salads, fruits and vegetables, homemade soups, cheese and meat products.

In their free time, children are given the opportunity to attend more than 30 different electives, so that each cadet will be able to find suitable activity for himself and like-minded students.
