University of New South Wales Opens Campus in India

The University of New South Wales has received official permission to establish a branch in Bangalore, India. This decision was made jointly by the Ministers of Education of the two countries: Dharmendra Pradan (India) and Jason Clare (Australia).

The opening of the international campus will be an important stage in the development of cooperation between the states. According to the Indian minister, this event will further strengthen ties between students, scientists and industry representatives. Australia, in turn, sees the initiative as an important contribution to the export of educational services, emphasizing the bilateral benefits.

The UNSW Bangalore branch will focus on undergraduate programs in business, media, computer science and data, and will open a master's degree in cybersecurity. These courses fit into the university's strategy for the coming years, which aims to increase international competitiveness and improve graduate outcomes
