Foreign students who study in America can be arrested or deported if they participate in protests in the country. Universities that allow "illegal protests" to be held are also under threat.
The new order of the President of the United States of America was condemned by the Foundation for the Protection of Individual Rights and Expression: employees believe that such restrictions are a direct violation of American freedom and traditions.
To implement the new bill, a federal task force to combat anti-Semitism was assembled. Members of the task force have already announced visits to 10 college campuses to investigate cases of anti-Semitism, and in early March they announced that they could suspend cooperation with Columbia University because the leadership "does not act on the persecution of Jewish students." The university disputes this accusation.
