Admission to higher education institutions in the UK after grade 11 is possible through the Foundation program: a one-year preparatory course specially designed for the quick and effective adaptation of international students to the British educational environment. Foundation includes preparation in academic English and an introduction to the subjects that students will study in their first year in their field.
Due to additional lessons in academic English, the cost of the Foundation program is usually higher than the cost of the main course. The average Foundation price is from 14,000 pounds per year, the price of the main undergraduate program is from 12,000 pounds per year.
