Summer English Courses

  • Age — from 10 to 17 years old,
  • Course duration — two or three weeks.

The language course taught on the Culford School campus is available in two formats: Classic and Premium. Both include a guaranteed 15 hours of English lessons per week, three full-day excursions to London with visits to the British Museum, a day trip to Cambridge, and a walk around the village of Culford. When staying on campus for three weeks, the leisure program additionally includes two full-day excursions to London with independent sightseeing. The difference is that the Premium format course offers a wider variety of places for independent visits: Madame Tussauds Museum, the London Eye, a river cruise on the Thames and others.

English lessons are held in groups of 15-20 people, providing students with both individual attention from the teacher and the opportunity to develop skills through group work. Various areas of history, culture, science and technology are considered in the classes, based on which there is an improvement in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, expansion of vocabulary, and ability to communicate freely in English. In addition to the main lessons, students can add individual lessons with a teacher to consider topics of interest in more detail, or go over difficult aspects of linguistics again.
