IB Primary Years Program (PYP)

  • Age: from 3 to 11-12 years old.

Designed for children from 3 to 12 years old, it offers a challenging and relevant education, nurtures and develops caring, active lifelong learners. The children are responsible for independent learning and become full-fledged partners in the educational process. The course includes:

  • Gaining knowledge, intellectual achievements,
  • Research and Reflection,
  • Conceptual understanding to strengthen the linkages between subject areas,
  • Developing useful skills in and out of school.

All students, local and foreign, study Arabic from Grade 1 to 1 lesson per week.

IB Middle Years Program (MYP)

  • Age: 11 to 16 years old.

Participation in the program helps students make practical connections between their studies and the real world. Graduating from the MYP is an effective preparation for the next level – the IB Diploma Programme. It includes a broad and balanced study of 8 subject groups for children aged 11-16. The MYP requires a minimum of 50 hours of study time for each subject group in each year of the programme. In the last two years, the flexibility of the subject group has allowed students to meet the requirements of an international school and achieve personal goals. Upon completion, an international certificate is issued.

Description of Raha International Private School, Khalifa Campus

Raha International School was opened in 2020 in the city center of Khalifa, Abu Dhabi, UAE. It is the second campus of a sought-after school, located a 7-minute drive from the first Gardens campus. It accepts children from 3 to 16 years old for the International Baccalaureate programs of primary and secondary school, and in the near future the school plans to introduce Part 3 of the IB - a diploma program for high school.

The school boasts a diverse student body, with over 2,200 students hailing from 80 different countries. In addition, it employs a dedicated teaching staff of more than 250 professionals who collectively represent a multicultural society. Admission dates and extra charges

Additional costs include:

  • Deposit for the program (non-refundable) – 5% of the tuition fee,
  • School Uniforms – Available at the school store, new or used.

Enrolment process

  • Submission is free of charge, opening in early September each year. The application is filled out in an online format, indicating general information about the child, contact details of the parents, e-mail for communication, the required documents for consideration are attached. It is recommended that you start the application process early.
  • Pending – the application is reviewed within 1-7 business days.
  • Invitation – if there are vacancies, you must provide additional documents and take a test.
  • Assessment – Local young children are invited to conduct an informal assessment. Students from grades 2 to 11 take a computerized cognitive ability test at school or online (for students from abroad).
  • Confirmation of the place – parents will receive an official letter with an offer, an invoice for the payment of the deposit (5% of the total cost of the program).

If there are no vacancies, applications remain on the waiting list until the start of their studies. If there is no vacancy by this time, the application will be cancelled. Students and their parents have the right to re-apply for the next academic year.
