World Academy – Dubai is an international private school offering the largest mother tongue program among schools in the UAE, as well as many IB courses.
The campus is designed to accommodate more than 2000 students. Among them there are representatives of more than 90 nationalities, and the teaching staff consists of about 190 teachers from 27 countries.

Things to know about
Mark Thompson is a tenth grade student who decided to help... a cat! Mark modeled a cat's paw using software and used a 3D printer to create a working real-size paw prosthesis, which was then used by a veterinary surgeon. Now the cat can not only walk, but also lead a normal cat life - jump, run and play.

Accommodation, meals, prices
Next to the academic buildings are the residential complexes Meadows, Springs, Lakes and Arabian Ranches. The school itself does not provide accommodation on campus.
World Academy – Dubai is the only school in Dubai that has a live kitchen with qualified chefs. The academy has a cafeteria and a café where fresh and varied meals are served daily. At lunchtime, students can purchase hot and cold meals, and during breaks have a snack with pastries, desserts or appetizers. Students can also bring packed lunches from home, however, the academy's management prohibits the introduction of carbonated drinks, sweets and food containing allergens.
Elementary students eat in their classrooms, the rest attend the cafeteria under the guidance of teachers.
Employees of the Academy recommend that parents get cards for non-cash payment in order to always regulate and track the spending of children. In the lobby of the main building there is a parents' café, designed for those who are waiting for their children from classes. It is open from 7:30 to 16:00 from Monday to Thursday, until 13:00 on Friday.

The Academy offers its students more than a dozen different language courses within the school curriculum, which do not require additional fees. Students can both tighten their knowledge and learn languages in the directions they need: education, life, career, hobbies.
Extracurricular activities in the institution are represented by several areas: sports, creativity, science and charity. Sports sections are open to lovers of golf, swimming, running, horseback riding, skiing, climbing, dancing, martial arts and much more. All students who are members of national teams have the opportunity to show themselves at competitions between universities of the city and the region.

The flexibility provided by a digital projection system can display more than just views of the universe. Subjects such as art, history, geography, physics, and biology can be revived and taught in this immersive classroom. The ability to move from the macro environment of space to the microscopic environment of cells and atoms creates an opportunity in which all aspects of the curriculum can be presented in a unique and exciting way.

At the final exams, all high school students receive a 100% passing score for admission to the university. The average score of students taking the IBDP is 34.2 (compared to the global average of 32), with an average of 9-10 students scoring 40 points or more.
Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Foreign applicants entering any of the school stages should be provided with:
- Copies of personal documents of the child and one of the parents: foreign passport, medical insurance, visa or residence permit,
- School reports for the last two years,
- Certificate of transfer from another school,
- A completed questionnaire with the choice of the course and personal data of the future student,
- Test for confirmation of the level of English proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or others. Depending on the level of education, the student will be enrolled in a class suitable for his level.
