The British educational sector will soon lose one of the country's leading schools, Queen Margaret's School for Girls: after the end of the summer semester, the boarding school will cease its long-term educational history. The management says that they made this difficult decision because of the new British policy, in particular, due to the introduction of VAT on the cost of educational courses.
The demand for school education has been declining since last year due to price increases, but after the introduction of VAT, it fell to a minimum. School administrators are concerned about the well-being of their students and their families, but they are no longer able to influence the situation with tax collections.
Brief historical reference:
- QMSG has been operating in the UK since 1901,
- The school taught girls from 11 to 18 years old.
