Foreigners live in the central campus in Barry, which seats up to 524 students and has a developed infrastructure and a modern security system. Video surveillance is carried out around the clock; students can get into the room using a personal electronic card. Apartment

Enrolment process

Admission to Georgian College for international students takes place in several stages:

  1. An online application is submitted through the International Application System, where all required documents are uploaded: high school diploma or degree, transcripts, proof of English proficiency, and other materials.
  2. The application is then reviewed by the college. If everything is in order and they are ready to offer the student a place, a Letter of Acceptance is issued — an official enrollment letter.
  3. To secure a place in the program, students pay a deposit and confirm their participation.
  4. The next step is obtaining a Provincial Attestation Letter from the province of Ontario. After that, the process of applying for a student visa begins, followed by waiting for its approval.
  5. Once the visa is received, the final step remains — registering for courses and preparing for the start of studies at the college.

Perspectives

During their studies at Georgian College, many students complete paid internships and Co-op placements with employers in Canada, so by the time they graduate, students already have a practical portfolio and understanding of their profession, making them competitive in the job market.
