BTEC stands for Business and Technology Education Council. Obtaining an Extended Diploma Qualification BTEC is a professional alternative to A-level or IB, and the first courses of BTEC are equivalent to GCSEs.
Courses in this format are focused on skills-based learning and are built around thematic blocks. This hands-on approach allows students in BTEC programs to develop and apply the knowledge and skills that employers look for in their employees, and colleges and universities look for in students. Most often, BTEC courses consist of 18 modules, for each of which students write term papers to demonstrate their competence and success in completing the discipline. All BTEC blocks consist of a number of criteria that must be met in order to qualify. They are established on the basis of the standards of "passing score", "merit" and "distinction"; The tasks become more difficult as you pass the criteria. The ability to meet strict deadlines is crucial because, regardless of the subject or level, the student must meet the deadline specified in the assignment.
