It supports the traditional high standards of British education and welcomes students from all over the world. In total the collective of pupils is represented by 67 nationalities.

Repton School is a partner of the British school of the same name from the city of Repton (Derbyshire): in the year when the Dubai school was founded - 2007 - the school in Britain celebrated 450 years of effective and fruitful work. The school received a "legacy" arch on the entering the campus, the shape and arrangement of the buildings, as well as all the traditions and cultural characteristics of the British boarding house. In the school's leadership there are two permanent representatives of Britain, coordinating any changes at the level of the two schools. Students exchange is well established, it is even planned to hold joint games, sports and matches - this is the best way to visually show English antiquity and experience in combination with ultra-modern UAE.

A private school is only 15 minutes drive from a major local international airport, in the western part of the city (Nad-Al-Sheba district). The duration of the school year is traditional - from the beginning of September to June, but you can join within a year if there are vacancies on the programs.

In total, the number of pupils in the school reaches 2,000 people (600 of them are senior pupils and 70 participants of the Sixth Form). On the terms of the boarding house (permanently on campus) there are approximately 80 children, in general the residence is designed for 120 people (for 100 boys and for 20 girls). There are one teacher for every 10 children on everage.

The philosophy of the school is the phrase "The best is for every child." Despite the fact that the school is considered quite large, each student here is treated in a special way, appreciate and develop his personality in every possible way. Here, all opportunities are provided for the disclosure of personal talents and abilities, any progress in studies, sports and creativity is encouraged. The pedagogical staff firmly believe that moderate praise and encouragement of children is the best way to develop their self-reliance, independence, initiative and leadership qualities.

All classes are conducted in English; Arabic and the second foreign language is studied by all schoolchildren without exception (in grades 7-9), and in the 10-13 grades a second foreign language is added to the curriculum, which is also chosen by the pupil himself.

International status IB was obtained in Educational institution on April 1, 2009, just six months after the opening: note that only 3 schools in the world were awarded this confirmation in such a short time (the whole program is supported by 2590 educational institutions in 134 countries).

The curriculum includes 40 lessons per week (each for 40 minutes); Classes are formed by the principle of mixed abilities (except for lessons in mathematics and foreign languages).

The institution is proud of the fact that the graduates successfully enter the best universities in the world:

  • School of Design of Rhode Island;
  • University of Warwick;
  • Oxford;
  • St. Andrews University;
  • University of California, Los Angeles and San Diego, etc.

Most graduates are successful in biochemistry, design, business, economics and management. By the results of 2013-2014, Academic achievements of students are as follows:

  • IB = 25% of students received 38 or more points (this is the equivalent of 4 A in the A-level), when the average score is 33%

In order to successfully pass the exams and get IB Diploma, the student must choose one subject from each academic block - note that not all combinations are available. Also, the school tracks the popularity of a particular subject - if the discipline is not in demand among students, its course is not taught. In addition to the choice of subjects, the student must decide which three he will study at the standard level, and which ones - on the in-depth level. List of academic blocks is the following:

  • English Language and Literature, English Literature (separately);

In addition, students attend the theory of knowledge (CTC) courses, practice in writing an expanded essay and pass the CAS course (creativity, activity, service) - these are the disciplines common to IB Diploma programs around the world.
To get a Repton certificate Diploma, the student passes the BTEC program and 2-3 courses from the classical IB program (without a diploma). The corporate certificate of this school is perfect for students who plan to enter vocational schools and receive relevant specialties: this course was developed in August 2012 as a way to obtain valuable qualifications for admission to British and European universities.
