Conditions for admission to universities in Serbia for foreigners
Admission conditions may vary depending on the chosen university and specialty. But in any case, foreign applicants must provide a certified document on education (certificate or diploma) with a translation into Serbian or English. The certificate of secondary education must be legalized (confirmed, nostrified) in the Ministry of Education of Serbia.
A diploma of higher education can be nostrified there or in the university's own commission. Here the decision is made by the university. Nostrification of educational documents is a paid procedure.
Requirements for admission to universities in Serbia:
- Pass the Serbian language proficiency exam or receive an English proficiency certificate,
- Choose a university and apply (in person or remotely),
- Nostrify a certificate or diploma,
- Pass the entrance exams.
Foreigners are enrolled in universities in Serbia on the basis of a general competition.
