The Wycombe Abbey International network continues to expand beyond the United Kingdom. In the near future, Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok will open in Bangkok — the brand's first school in Thailand.
The new campus will become part of the international network, which is already represented in Hong Kong, China and Egypt (with plans to open a school in Singapore as well). All international campuses operate under the educational model of Wycombe Abbey School, one of the most well-known British private schools.
The school will accept children aged 2 to 18, offering education under the British curriculum: from early development to senior school. Students will be able to prepare for IGCSE and A-level exams, and choose the most suitable format: day school, full boarding, weekly boarding, or a flexible boarding option. At the heart of the educational model is not only strong subject preparation, but also the development of leadership qualities, independence, curiosity, creative thinking, and students' emotional well-being.
The project is being developed on the site of the current VERSO International School, which will be completely rebuilt and continue to operate under the new brand. The campus is located near Suvarnabhumi airport, occupying an extensive green area. For sports, the school will collaborate with Thana City Country Club — where students will have access to golf, tennis, and squash facilities.
The opening of the school in Thailand marks another stage in the global expansion of Wycombe Abbey International. The project is being implemented in partnership with the educational company BE Education and reflects the growing demand for British education in Asian countries.
