UK International Student Visa Applications Down 16% This Year

The UK Home Office has summed up the statistics on foreign visas: the number of foreign students who submitted requests to the country from January to September this year decreased by 16%, to 350,700 people. The reductions also affected requests to bring family members of foreign students to the UK, and the number of foreign dependents - by 85% (the number of recent applications was 17,800).
