Best programs at Swiss schools for foreign students

Best programs at Swiss schools for foreign students

Most people, speaking of Switzerland, imagine a lot of cheese and chocolate, emerald meadows, clean air and the Alps. The country is also known for its private schools, which provide an extensive selection of training programs, interethnic spirit and Swiss quality. For foreign citizens, the following training options have been developed:

International Baccalaureate

The program incorporates all the best qualities of European secondary education systems. Its graduation allows you to enter many universities in Europe. Usually the training takes place in English, but you can additionally learn Italian, French or German.

American Section

Training takes place in English. Obviously, after training on this basis, the chances of entering well-known US universities increase significantly.

British Section

Perfect for students who intend to enter universities in the UK. Training takes place in English on the A-level and GCSE programs.

Anglo-American Section

It is widely popular among those who seek to get an English-language secondary education in Switzerland: it gives the opportunity to enter American and British universities and is considered the most universal.

German Section

In Swiss boarding schools where you can take the Abitur program, a particularly strict discipline is observed. Most of them are located in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Graduation from these schools guarantees easy admission to prestigious universities in Germany.

French Section

Not very popular, but perfect for schoolchildren seeking to improve their knowledge of the French language.

Section Switzerland

Under this programme, pupils are educated in German, English and French. The standards of the program were developed by the Swiss Department of Education.

In order not to get lost in many different options, parents and schoolchildren should think about where he will go in the future - and even then make the right choice!
