Description of National Taiwan University

Taiwan boasts a National University or NTU - a higher education institution located on the island. Its creation is dated in 1928. The main building is located within the campus, as is the campus where students live and study. Admission and education

To enroll in the NTU you should pass exams, the results of which you will be able to enroll in a university. NTU Infrastructure

The capacity of the National University of Taiwan is quite large, as it receives knowledge of more than 30 thousand students. The Admissions Committee of the University accepts applications from applicants from all over the world. About 8% of foreigners receive education at this university. Foreign teachers consider it an honor to work in NTU. They constitute a significant part of the teaching staff, which is estimated at a figure of 2,800 professionals. In addition to the faculties listed above, the university's structure includes three separate professional colleges — of Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy.

A number of research institutes and centers operate within the engineering and agricultural faculties: an institute of hydraulic engineering research, and centers for industrial research, earthquake-resistant construction, intelligent mechanical systems, shipbuilding and marine technology, advanced green materials, nano-electromechanical systems, unmanned vehicle development, and radiation technology.

  • Museum of Anthropology — the collection dates to the early 20th century, reopened in 2010,
  • University Archives — established in 2007, housing documents from 1945 to the present,
  • Museum of Medical Humanities — housed in a Neo-Renaissance building constructed between 1907–1913, reopened after restoration in 1998.
