The ISM International Business Certificate program is designed for students who demonstrate great interest in a semester of study abroad at a German university. Accommodation in the dormitories of the International School of Management in Berlin costs from 250 to 350 euros per month. Students can also find accommodation off campus:

Fully furnished studio-style dormitories with multiple bedrooms. Residents should opt for an annual all-inclusive package, including meals in the dining room, as cooking is prohibited in these buildings.

  • Apartment

IMS also offers fully furnished dormitories with living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and balcony. Cooking is allowed, so it is not necessary to choose an all-inclusive package.

Enrolment process

  • Step 1 – Program Overview

Undergraduate programs begin twice a year in the summer semester (March) and fall semester (September).

Master's programs begin once a year in the fall semester (September). The Master of International Business and the Pre-Master begin in the summer semester (March).

The full-time MBA program begins in September, the part-time MBA in March.

  • Step 2 – Pre-Compliance Check

Undergraduate programs are designed for applicants who have obtained a general qualification for admission to German universities or qualifications for admission to universities of applied sciences.

To apply for participation in our master's programs, it is necessary to successfully obtain a bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS points, or an equivalent program at a university, university of applied sciences or a foreign higher educational institution.

For admission to the MBA General Management, confirmation of the first successful degree with 210 ECTS points in the university program is required.

  • Step 3 – Registration for the Entrance Test

After successfully passing the preliminary test, you can register online for the entrance test.

The Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test can be taken at all ISM locations and is also valid for all campuses. As for master's programs, it depends on the programs.

The result of the admission procedure will be communicated within a few days. Admission is valid for one year for all places.
