Huizhou University (HZU) is a higher education institution in southern China. The basis of the university was a pedagogical school, opened in 1946, since March 2000 it has been reformed into a provincial university.
HZU offers 58 undergraduate programs, 18 diploma specializations. The teaching staff of 1,065 teachers - professors and associate professors - teach about 19,000 students, about 2,000 of whom are trained online.

Activities Huizhou University
HZU has many student organizations of various fields: science, technology, art, culture, sports. Project competitions, musical performances, international conferences, scientific seminars are held annually. The university hosted famous pianists from Hong Kong, music professors for creative events, educational lectures.

The campus of the university is 1.71 sq. km. educational buildings, dormitories, sports facilities, surrounded by hills, lush trees. The local government considers HZU a "Garden School" - the title is awarded five years in a row for the picturesque surroundings of the buildings.
The scientific library is constantly replenishing the collection of books - at the moment it contains more than a million volumes of various literature in different languages.

The school year begins in September, the education is built on two semesters with final sessions at the end of each of them. Classes are held from Monday to Friday, sometimes on Saturday.
There are 25-45 students in the class, each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Education takes place mainly in English.
