How many years does studying in an English school takes?

The average length of study in an English school is 13 years.

For the first time, children begin to go to school at the age of 4 years (preparatory school), and at the age of 5 education for the child becomes compulsory. As a result, usually students graduate from school at the age of 18, and then enter higher educational institutions - universities.

Secondary education system in the UK

First stage – Primary school, from 5 to 11 years

At the first stage of education at school, students develop creative and research abilities, learn the world and learn to be in society.
