The Chinese government has ambitious plans: they want to increase the number of students in TNE schools from 800,000 to 8,000,000. The first step towards this dream is the approval of 46 new transnational partnerships. The list of agreed partnership projects includes 16 Chinese-international educational centers and 30 postgraduate programs that China implements jointly with other countries abroad. Now, in addition to focusing on cooperation with the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Australia, China has another vector of development - towards Russia, Germany, France and other European countries.
In May of this year, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China has already approved 113 partnership agreements. At this rate, China will be able to reach the cherished number of 8,000,000 within 10 years.
