Intensive preparatory and basic program for admission to the university

During the intensive preparatory and basic program, the student can master all the necessary skills necessary to start studying under the bachelor's program. During the semester, teachers will prepare students for everything that awaits them in the first year of study at the university. Professional English (speaking, reading, writing), mathematics and natural sciences, European culture and many other useful activities will prepare students for student life.
Professional University Preparation Course

Professional Foundation programs are designed for those who want to study engineering, IT or natural sciences at one of the partner universities, but their professional skills do not yet reach the level required for the university. This is an important step before entering a university, since engineering, information and scientific programs are extremely advanced, require a high level of professional training. The teaching staff has extensive experience in teaching even the most complex technical skills, so the student will begin his university years with full confidence in his abilities.
Professional Foundation programs are designed specifically for all areas of study, so the student can master the specific skills most important for further admission.
Language University Preparation Program
- Age – from 18 years (completed school)
- Duration of study – 2 semesters
All BIC partner programs are taught in English, so students need a level of English proficiency not lower than B2. In the event that the admissions staff decides that knowledge of English is not enough to start studying under the bachelor's program, the student must pass this preparatory program.
For two semesters, the student will attend classes in English, Professional Communications, European Culture, as well as elective classes, the main purpose of which is to improve the overall readiness to study engineering, information technology or natural sciences in Europe.

Budapest International College (BIC) is an international university college that offers preparatory programs of engineering, information and scientific profiles for further admission to universities. This institution is also a provider of recruitment services.
Accommodation, meals, prices
BIC accommodates its students in a partner residential complex located a couple of stops from the city center. The hostel is in excellent transport access, close to shopping centers, fitness rooms, a cinema, restaurants and many other public places.
The residential building consists of six separate apartments, each of which accommodates 5-8 people. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen, a comfortable living room, bathrooms and toilets. WiFi is available in all apartments.

The minimum rental period of the apartment is five months, the maximum is one year with the possibility of extension.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Applicants must provide:
- High School Diploma with Final Examination Results
- A copy of the passport – it must be valid for at least 6 months
- Visa Documents
- Health Insurance
- Knowledge of English is not lower than level B2.
Language proficiency and a math test are assessed in an interview, which will be scheduled after viewing the documents.
Application dates for programs vary, but basically documents are accepted until June 30 or November 30.
