Bishop Strachan School has been inspiring girls since 1867 to find their own path, to become independent researchers. It is a University Preparatory School in Toronto for girls from junior kindergarten to grade 12. • Performing Arts - Teachers are happy to help discover students talents, find creative voice in music, dance, drama or media art.
• Art + - the ability to incorporate art into other areas of the curriculum. When student create a papier-mâché version, it is much easier to learn how a human cell works. The story comes to life when shoot a video with multiple classmates to tell the story. Explaining a complex social problem is much more interesting when interpret it through dance or portray in a series of photographs.

• BSS teachers are experts in their fields: they strive for active development, they regularly engage in professional development. All Bishop Strachan School students must wear a school uniform, which can be purchased from the BSS General Store. There are additional costs associated with excursions, textbooks and technology:
