Middle School

In middle school, the program places greater emphasis on English (some subjects are still taught in Chinese). The middle school stage is important in the process of preparing for the High School program that completes school education. The IGCSE program offers students flexibility in composing a curriculum in grade 9 — students study 11-15 subjects, including compulsory and optional ones. Summer English Academy

Summer STEM Laboratory

A short-term course covers exciting and in-demand scientific fields in the modern world: technology, engineering, and robotics. During the training process, children gain practical experience and valuable knowledge by working with engineering equipment, software, 3D printing and laser cutting machines, CAD/CAM systems, and other equipment provided by WAS Nanjing. Under the guidance of qualified specialists, students will learn the entire industrial design process: from generating an idea and analyzing a product to its implementation. Summer Course: Trinity Certified Young Performers

This program was created with the support of Trinity College London — one of the leading colleges of performing arts. The course will help students fully reveal their talent and prepare for entrance exams.
Performing arts combines music, dance, literature, language and dramatic performance, requiring actors to have a high level of acting skills, dance and vocals. Engaging practice-based classes will develop students' musical literacy, imagination, creativity, communication skills, teamwork skills, and physical coordination. The centerpiece of the course is the Growl musical, carefully selected and approved by one of the world's most famous organizations involved in youth musical theatre — the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT); it is performed by students entirely in English at the end of the course.
The Trinity Performing Arts course was developed and taught by NYMT's international training partner, Serious Play Music Theatre. After completing the course and final performance, students will receive a Trinity Performing Arts certificate.
John Locke Institute Summer School

The John Locke Institute offers interdisciplinary education in philosophy, politics, economics, history, psychology and law, and the summer course from the institute — an introduction to the principles of studying economics and finance, skills in writing academic essays.

Wycombe Abbey School in Nanjing (WAS Nanjing) — an international school with a British education system that educates children from 2 to 18 years old. It is part of the large academic group Wycombe Abbey, founded in London in 1896.
