Nantes State University is one of the most popular institutions of higher education in France. Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Ange Guépin in Nantes hosted and supported the project. The EuQu team there included a principal investigator, four postdoctoral researchers, four doctoral researchers, a project and communications specialist, and an administrator.

Enrollment procedures vary by an applicant's citizenship and status. The preliminary DAP procedure does not apply to participants in interuniversity agreements when this exemption is explicitly included. Recipients of scholarships from the French government, an international body, or a foreign state are also exempt when an approved French organization administers the award. Applicants from countries in the European Economic Area complete the Parcoursup process between January and March.

Applicants must pass entrance examinations to enroll. The academic year consists of two semesters. Students with strong academic records may qualify for financial support from the university.
