Autumn English Courses

Quick review: Intensive English course with emphasis on conversational practice.

About the educational course: The program is designed for 28 educational hours per week. A distinctive feature of classes on the course is dynamism. Intensive program provides for the study of English in the process of communication. Also, special attention is paid to the development of grammar, the expansion of vocabulary. General language skills are acquired and developed quickly enough with the help of the program. This is facilitated by the use in the educational process:

  • A large number of various additional materials;
  • Interactive technologies;
  • The professionalism of teachers;
  • The motivation of the students themselves.

Students age: 14 to 17.

Requirements for admission: the level of basic training is not lower than beginner.

Educational program outcomes: 

  • Effective development of communication skills;
  • Exceptional understanding of English;
  • Grammatical precision;
  • Extensive vocabulary.

Educational group: up to 12 people.

Winter English Courses

Brief Information: Intensive educational program for studying English during vacations for personal and academic purposes.

About the educational course: The program provides for an academic load of 28 hours per week. In the morning classes international students study different aspects of the language:

  • The English grammar;
  • Practice in writing;
  • Acquire the skills of perception of foreign by ear;
  • Practice in pronunciation. 

The afternoon classes include project work. The latter covers a variety of topics, from the theatrical culture of England to tourism and the economy.

Students age: 14 to 17 years.

Requirements for enrollment: English - at the level of A1 and above.

The results of the educational program: 

  • Increase of English proficiency;
  • Development of communicative Skills;
  • Gaining experience in project teamwork and individual work;
  • Developing academic skills.

Educational group: up to 12 people.

Lesson duration: 45 minutes.

Spring English courses for students

The program combines learning English with outdoor activities, activities and excursions. The guys are waiting for:

  • English lessons 5 days a week, where students learn grammar, phonetics, vocabulary. The course has a practical focus: students hone their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Entertaining activities and excursions.

Description of Studio Cambridge - Sir George Summer Camp

Children's language school Studio Cambridge - Sir George Summer Camp is one of the language centers of Studio Cambridge that was founded in 1954. It occupies a mansion of a Victorian style. The center is located near the main square of Cambridge. In walking distance from it there are famous Cambridge colleges, university buildings, as well as commercial and entertainment infrastructure.

Sir George Camp accepts students of all nationalities. Convenient location, ranking, high quality of educational services attract foreign students.

In 2023, statistics show there are about 1.5 billion people around the world who speak English both natively and as a second language. English is the global language for business, tourism, aviation, sciences, and media (to name a few).

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students are offered a family placement. Families live about half an hour from the language center. Students are accommodated for 1-2 people in the room. In the latter case, accommodation with a native speaker of another language is guaranteed. Three meals a day are provided in the camp, full boarding. Students have breakfast and dinner in the family, lunch is served in the school cafeteria.

Subjects and sports

Activities Studio Cambridge - Sir George Summer Camp

Extra-curricular activities are held daily in the camp. In the evenings, students are offered discotheques, themed meetings, karaoke, barbecue, film screenings. Three times a week, two-day activities are organized. It can be sports, cultural, cognitive. The program also provides support for students of Sir George Camp on excursions. Every Sunday a whole day trip is organized to one of the cities of Britain (Brighton, Oxford, Canterbury, Stratford-upon-Avon). Also, there are tours around London (sightseeing, visiting museums, galleries, shopping).

Daily routine

Classes are held from 09:15 to 15:15 from Monday to Friday.
