Elementary Classes - Primaria
The youngest students begin their school journey with the International Baccalaureate Programa de la escuela Primaria: 50% of classes are conducted in English, 50% in Spanish. It is also possible to change the proportions, for example, 80/20 (English/Spanish). From 3-4 grades begins the study of a second language (French or German), from the 5th - third (2 hours a week).
Middle classes - ESO
Students take the Programa de los Años Intermedios course and can choose which subject to study in which language they study (English or Spanish). The curriculum consists of 8 groups of subjects:

International Baccalaureate – IB
High school students can choose not the national Spanish standard Bachillerato, but the international IB course: it significantly expands the opportunities for higher education, as it is accepted in almost all universities in the world.
The curriculum of each student includes up to 6 subjects: 3 are studied at the standard level of complexity, 3 - at the increased level. Subject groups are generally the same as Bachillerato:

The results of the IB program for 2021 speak for themselves:

- The world average score is IB - 33 out of 45, SEK graduates scored an average of 35.6 points

Summer Course: Technology Campus
- Age - from 12 to 16 years,
- Dates – July,
- The duration of training is from one to four weeks.
The intensive summer program focuses on introducing students to the world of technology: programming, artificial intelligence, electronics, social media, content creation, video games, cybersecurity, and many other areas will be explored in academic classes taught by qualified educators. In addition to learning technical skills, students will gain important life skills: teamwork, communication skills, the ability to delegate and take responsibility. The aim of the course is to enable children to gain a broad understanding of technology, its application in everyday life, safety and career development opportunities.
Students are offered classes in small groups and quite a lot of time for self-study. Teachers will show children the basics of the following technological areas:
- Science Bits,
- Python programming by levels,
- Programming of video games, mobile applications,
- Robotics Micro:bit, Arduino,
- Creativity in technology,
- Machine learning.
Students can choose one of two formats of education: with and without accommodation. When accommodated in the residence, students receive three meals a day, round-the-clock support and the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the study of not only the core specialty of the program, but also the culture and history of Spain.
In extracurricular time, students can try new sports, relax in the fresh air, go to explore the surrounding sights and natural beauty.
Educación Infantil, Early childhood education

SEK-Catalunya Kindergarten offers a unique educational model that prepares young students for more rigorous learning later on. For several years, children will be immersed in a multilingual environment - teaching is conducted in English, Spanish and Catalan. Native teachers devote a lot of time and individual attention to each pupil, helping in time to solve complex problems and encouraging students.
Students' curriculum is based on a playful approach that helps them explore the world around them without getting overwhelmed. Interactive math problems, language lessons, physical activity, creativity and timely rest - everything that helps the child to develop fully and comprehensively.
The kindergarten has a flexible schedule - the child can be at school:
- from 9:30 to 17:30,
- from 9:30 to 15:30,
- from 9:30 to 13:30.
If necessary, parents can request additional care in the morning or after school: from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 17:30 to 18:30, respectively.

Enrolment process
Applications to SEK Catalunya are accepted throughout the year and new students are admitted at the beginning of the semesters. The admission procedure consists of a couple of stages:
- Choosing a program, communicating with the admissions committee to clarify the dates and conditions of enrollment,
- Visiting the campus to get acquainted with the teachers, learning conditions and infrastructure,
- Submission of the application and the required documents,
- Passing an interview, a possible entrance test,
- Receiving an official letter of invitation to study,
- Arrive on campus to start classes.
When applying to summer programs, future students do not pass an interview — they are only waiting for a language test, according to the results of which they are divided into groups.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
The requirements for applicants from SEK-Catalunya are standard and rather lassing - you need to prepare:
- Passport (of the student and his/her parents/guardians), birth certificate of the child
- Timesheet with grades for the previous 2 years. If you enter the high school of Vanierato - a certificate of secondary education.
- Results of entrance tests: English is mandatory, other subjects - at the discretion of the commission
- Any achievements, successes, certificates and awards
- + pass an interview (you can remotely) with the director.
All documents must be translated into Spanish and legalized under Spanish law.
